household goods may be imported free of duty and VAT, provided the owner
has been living abroad for the last 12 months prior to his/her arrival in
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED:
A declaration form, (UK C3 Customs form), must be filled in and signed by the consignee. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES Liable to extremely high duties, even for small quantities and are subject to full Customs Inspection. A detailed inventory list showing brand, number/volume of bottles, vintage, alcoholic content in % must be supplied. An import licence is required for even small quantities and opened bottles. Therefore, please inform your T.I.M.N. agent prior to shipping liquor and wine. FIREARMS & AMMUNITION May be imported. Owner must obtain permission from local Police Dept. This permission has to be presented to customs at the time of customs clearance of household goods. LIVE PLANTS A certificate, from the Plant and Wildlife Department in the country of origin must accompany live plants to show that they are healthy. Import licence required as well as a detailed inventory list showing type (with / without flowers, with / without pot, cuttings, bulbs etc.). Up to 5 indoor plants are allowed, liable to duties and taxes.
You
may apply for temporary permission for short-term use of a car on foreign
plates in Clients should clear this directly with Norwegian destination agents prior to shipment. PETS
