DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Passport (original or certified copy
of every page)
- Detailed inventory (in English) and
keys for any locked items
- CE101 Form (Attested Lesotho Customs
documents applicable to temporary or permanent residents or returning
citizens)
- Only the Customer can apply for this
form
- All necessary documents must be in
the Destination Agent's possession at least seven days before arrival of the
vessel so that Customs clearance is done timelessly and demurrage charges are
avoided
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
- CUSTOMER MUST BE IN LESOTHO
FOR CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
- 100% inspection by Customs for all
household goods and motor vehicles
- Used household goods and personal
effects permitted duty-free if arriving within six months of Customer and are
for Customer's own use
- Returning residents must have been
out of Lesotho for a continuous period of at least six months to qualify for
duty-free import
